Ilya Yefimovich Repin was a Russian artist, born in what is now Ukraine. He turned into one of the most prominent artists in Russia throughout the 19th century. His major works consist of Barge Haulers on the Volga, Religious Procession in Kursk Province, Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan; and Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks.
